和平部落休閒農業區位於新竹縣五峰鄉竹林村的和平部落(泰雅語稱麥巴來)，為泰雅族傳統聚落之一，海拔約600-700公尺，背後及遠處有鬼澤山、梅山、五指山、鵝公髻山、扇子排山等群山環伺，山腳下則有上坪溪、麥巴來溪，且擁有3條著名的步道:谷燕瀑布步道、麥巴來步道、鬼澤山登山步道，近期又新增了以環繞部落的環山歩道，是個寧靜且優美的高山型休閒農業區，遊客可在此地選擇登山、健行、賞瀑、觀霧、攬雲、或露營、野餐，盡享山地與部落之美。

The Heping Tribe Leisure Agriculture Area is located in the Heping Tribe (Maybalay in Atayal language) in Zhulin Village, Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County, as one of the traditional Atayal settlements. It is about 600 - 700 meters above sea level and surrounded by Guize Mountain, Mei Mountain, Wuzhi Mountain, Egongji Mountain and Fanpai Mountain.A the foot of the mountain, there are Shangping River and Maibalai River with three famous trails, Guyan Waterfall Trail, Maibalai Trail and Guize Mountain Hiking Trail, surrounding the tribe. The Heping Tribe is a quiet and beautiful alpine-type Leisure Agriculture Area. Visitors can choose to climb, hike, appreciate the waterfall, watch the fog, cloud clouds, camp, picnic, and enjoy mountains and beautiful tribe here.
